Christmas is Coming!

Christmas is coming again!!! It's incredible how fast time goes by and maybe you have started thinking about what presents you would like to ask for to Santa. If you have been good pupils, I'm sure you'll get loads of extraordinary gifts. But we will reflect on that later.

Here you can listen to two children telling his dad what they want for Christmas. Check that you understand them by clicking on this link.

As this term is nearly over, let's review what you did.
Were you good pupils this term? Did you do your homework every day? Did you participate in your English class a lot or do you think you could have done more than you did? ;-)

Leave your comments!!!

  1. yes, I think I've been a good pupil: I've gone English class every day and I've made my homeworks.
I promise I'll study a lot and I'll participate more in class next year.

  2. That's a good objective, dear pupil. I really hope you get it. Keep doing your homework and attending class every day. If I can help you in anything, please let me know.

  3. I think I´ve been a good pupil, quite good at least. I always did my homework and I went to class every day ( except two class when I was ill). But I should work more at home. I mean, I need to improve my listening and I must do a lot of listening exercises if I want to achieve it. After Christmas I´ll work as much as I can.

    1. New Year's Resolution, Isabel. That's very good. We all can improve our English, even me. I see myself as a student since I'm always learning lots of things such as new vocabulary and expressions, I practise my listening skills every day by watching films or TV series in English, I write in English as well. There are loads of things we can do in order to improve. Where there's will, there's a way!!!

  5. Well, in my opinion I have been a good pupil, I always did my homework and I went to class every day but for me it is a great effort to write these four lines, I¨m using the dictionary all the time and when I have to speak in English I don´t do like to say what
I¨m thinking, but I¨ll to study a lot and I¨ll try to participate more in class.

    1. Chelo, I'll tell you more or less the same I wrote to your classmates. It doesn't matter if you have to use the dictionary all the time just to write a couple of lines, the most important thing is that you are putting your English into practice. You're making the effort. Keep trying and you will succeed.
